At first glance, the wall of 200+ markets on PredictIt can look like a complete shitshow and you may have no idea where to start. It turns out most markets and contracts usually fit nicely into one of several categories common on the site. This series aims to define those markets, and how to trade them, so you can add some method to the madness next time you are looking through them.

I will leave out special categories, like tweets and polling markets, as these operate under completely different dynamics and usually need to be approached differently than the ones I detail forward in this series (though I will plan to cover tweet markets in the near future, so stay posted).
